Helmsing Leach associate Kirk Mattei recently completed the Coastal Alabama Partnership’s (CAP) regional leadership program. CAP was founded at the recommendation of Governor Riley in the wake of the BP oil spill to advocate and undertake strategic planning for Mobile and Baldwin counties. As a member of CAP’s first “Coastal Civic Masters Program,” Kirk was part of a small group of area leaders tasked with developing a regional leadership coalition to advocate for economic development, environmental sustainability, and improving the quality of life in coastal Alabama.
