Professional Experience
An associate at Helmsing Leach, Rachel practices a variety of civil litigation and transactional law. Originally from Dallas, Texas, she moved to Oxford, MS where she attended the University of Mississippi for her undergraduate studies and law school. While pursuing her JD, Rachel gained experience in plantiff’s work in Texas and real estate law through the Low-Income Housing Clinic. She also published five articles involving the Endangered Species Act, eminent domain, the Safe Drinking Water Act, national flood insurance, and the public trust doctrine as a member of the National Sea Grant legal program. Before joining Helmsing Leach, Rachel clerked in Mobile for Circuit Court Judge Mike Windom.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her fiancé and dog. She is a member of the Junior League of Mobile.
