| A. Edwin Stuardi IIIA. Edwin Stuardi III is a 1990 graduate of Springhill College and a 1994 graduate of Loyola University School of Law. Mr. Stuardi has focused his career on a trial practice, primarily defending physicians, hospitals, nurses and long term care facilities in medical liability litigation. Mr. Stuardi has tried cases as the lead attorney in a number of medical liability cases involving wrongful death, personal injury and a nursing home decubitus ulcer/amputation case. In addition to medical liability litigation, Mr. Stuardi represents clients in drug, medical device, trucking, workers compensation/co-employee litigation.
Mr. Stuardi is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, American Health Lawyers Association, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, and the Alabama Nursing Home Defense Lawyers Association (Secretary 2003). In 2008, Mr. Stuardi served as an instructor at the Alabama Defense Lawyers Trial Academy.
Mr. Stuardi is a member of the Alabama and Mississippi Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Alabama and Mississippi. Mr. Stuardi is a member of the Mobile Bar Association and served as Secretary in 2003. In 2001, he served as President of the Young Lawyers Section.
Mr. Stuardi was selected for inclusion in the 2009 Editions of The Best Lawyers in America and Alabama Super Lawyers in the specialties of medical malpractice law and commercial litigation.
