| Robert H. RouseRobert H. Rouse was born in Mobile, Alabama, in 1955. He grew up in Mobile and attended Louisiana State University where he received his undergraduate degree in 1977. He attended the University of Alabama School of Law where he received his law degree in 1980. He then attended New York University from which he received an LL.M. in Taxation in 1981. Mr. Rouse has been in the private practice of law in Mobile since his return from post-graduate studies in New York.
While in undergraduate school, Mr. Rouse was elected to membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. At law school, he was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
Since commencement of private practice, Mr. Rouse has served as a member of the Board of Bar Examiners of the Alabama State Bar. He is a member of the Mobile Bar Association, the Alabama State Bar and the American Bar Association. Mr. Rouse serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of Whitney National Bank (Mobile) and as a member of the Board of Directors of EnergySouth, Inc. Mr. Rouse has been included in The Best Lawyers in America publication.
Mr. Rouse has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama, and all courts of the State of Alabama, including the Alabama Supreme Court. |
